I am trying to make a Parametric.  I seem to not be able to apply a depth parameter. I Have tried everything to know avail.

This is a sink for a commercial kitchen.  The profile is shaped like a fishhook extending down vertical  from the drainboard top about 10" inches straight and then a 3/4" radius at the bottom end which forms the cove. The profile is 3/16" thick the entire length including the radius at the bottom end.  I can make the sink no problem the sketch path is connected to the drainboard reference plane. I use an extrusion for the bottom which is also 3/16" thick. When i dimension and apply the parameter for sink depth it will not stretch down or up for that matter.

I gave up and tried a different method to make a solid extrusion for the sink and then a void extrusion to carve out the sink. There are two many pieces and procedures to make this a practical solution. I know this can work as a sweep and one extrusion for the bottom.

I would really appreciate any help to make this work.

I am using Revit Architecture 2011.

Thank you in advance for your help!

David

After 4 days of research i finally found my answer. Was not all wasted though i learned a lot about everything else.

The problem was with the profile Arc point at the bottom was not locked to the reference plane that i labeled "SinkBottom".

I finally discovered the problem and quickly found the solution.

Thanks anyway.
