I was reading through these forums here a while back (like I do from time to time) and I ran across a thread having to do with walkthroughs and rendering. Now I cant find that thread to save my life!! Anyway some people were talking about rendered walkthroughs and how one of the really good ways is to do separate renderings of all your keyframes and export them and name them so you know what order they go in and use some sort of software to put it all together in a movie file. I would like to play with that a bit here and was wondering if anyone had any insight on this or what software people were using. I do have Modo, which was also recommended, but havent had time to sit down and try to learn it. Any help would be appretiated, thanks. I am using Revit 2011 Edited on: Mon, Sep 20, 2010 at 5:10:08 PM

I would just use windows movie maker -- included on all PCs, no frills, drag and drop files into order.

oops, sorry. it's not included with 7. Here's a link for it through, a vista version that works fine on 7. small file. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=d6ba5972-328e-4df7-8f9d-068fc0f80cfc

Thanks, I will try it right now. I was just playing with it on my wifes computer (she has XP), and that looks like it would be perfect.

Ive read on multiple forums to export walkthroughs as individual jpegs and stitch them together in movie maker or something like that, which i agree with.
I might be blind, but i cannot find how to export indiivudal frames of a walkthrough as jpegs. Ive read a bunch of other posts of people saying to do this. Is there a setting im missing or are they talking about choosing frame 1 to 1, rendering and repeating for each frame. (hope not)
