I'm a new Revit user and working on my first project. I'm having a problem with my elevation and section tags dissappearing from my floor plan. I'm sure that I'm overlooking something. Any suggestions?

CHECK YOUR VIEW VISIIBILTY SETTINGS TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE TURNED ON. YOU NEED TO CHECK THIS ON ALL VIEWS SINCE THESE ARE VIEW DEPENDENT ITEMS.

Thanks for your responce. My building elevation tags and building section tags don't show up on my floor plan drawing, but they are showing up on my roof plan. Any suggestions on why they're not showing up on my floor plan and how I can get them to show?

DID YOU CHECK YOU VIEW VISIBILITY SETTINGS FOR THOSE SHEETS. IF YOU HIT VV IT WILL BRING UP THAT MENU. THEN GO TO THE ANNOTATION TAB THEN SCROLL DOWN TO SEE IF THOSE TWO, BOXES FOR ELEVATIONS AND SECTIONS, ARE UNCHECKED. IF THEY ARE CHECK THEN AND THEY SHOULD COME BACK ON. THIS MAY HAVE HAPPEN IF YOU TRIED TO HIDE THEM, BUT HIT THE PERMANANT TOGGLE.

Thanks for all your feedback and help. This is my first time using Revit for a project and it's a learn as I go type of deal. I've checked all the other drawings and the other Drawings and both the elevation and section toggles are checked. My interior elevation tags are showing up, but not my exterior elevation tags. Half my section tags are showing and other ones are not. Thanks again for all your help

Check your phasing...... Our template opens up in "new construction" phase, by default. So everything in the project, including annotations, is "new". If you have a view, for example, using "existing" phase, your anno's wont be visable. Property the anno and change phase.

Thanks for your input. The phasing was what appeared to cause the annotation to dissapear. By changing the phasing the annotation was showing.
