I am new to Revit and to rendering...why not learn it all at once! The lighting in the images is difficult to control I cannot get my "swinger a' pendants on or a typical recessed can light. I have check that they are in the right light group and that group is on. Any ideas? Your help is greatly appreciated!

You must edit that family and check if there is something wrong. Are you render "Interior: Artificial only"?

Yes, it is interior-artificial only. What might be wrong with the family? I don't even know what to look for there...

Simple, just change "emit from point" to "emit from circle"......
