Hello, in my family, I have an array, which draws (roof)beams. I can change the value "dakhelling" (roof-slope) and everything works fine, except for the array. The beams aren't aligned anymore. Now this is, because I haven't locked them in all directions. But when I do lock them, so they are aligned again, I can't change my "kaphelling" (roof-slope) anymore! Error: constraints are not satisfied... What am I missing? Thanks!

I'm having exactly the same problem. I'm in the process of designing a lattice patio cover. I first set up all the reference planes along with parameters for various dimensions. I put the first lattice in place. I then arrayed the lattice and as soon as the lattice is arrayed, they are no longer constrained to the reference planes. I tried to reconstrain the array to the reference plane, and I get the same error message: "Constraints are not satisfied." What could it be? I too would greatly appreciate any help.

Hello PriscillaRVieira, think you're talking about something really different? We're trying to find a solution to the problem that locking a direction in an array, is preventing you from changing the base element in that array...

Hello Typhoon, great explanation! Thanks. I hope I will be able to get it to work at the office tomorrow. I think the only thing done different, is that you constrain INSIDE the last group-member. I locked just without "edit group" first. Gonna try, great video, thanks for the time! Jeroen

I will take a look to your family this night. I can't do that right now.
