I'm in 2010 Revit and I'm having trouble getting my program to open to a certain location on my network when I hit the open project command. I have gone to file location/default path for users file and set the network location there but it does not seam to be effecting anything.

Thanks for your help

I have not found any rhyme or reason to the locations Revit decides to default to when opening/saving/loading. Mostly it's the locations set in options or the last used locations, but it's not consistent. What I have found works well is to just drag your commonly used folders into the places area (left side) of the open/save dialoge. It's still an extra click, but it's better than nothing. I keep shortcuts there for our library, and whatever projects I am currently working on.
