Hello. I have a building drawn on revit. some of the floors are timber joists, others are concrete supported on steel beams. My question is that on my g.a. I want the steel beams to display as 'coarse' and the timber joists to display as 'meduim' or 'fine'. Unfortunately i don't seem to be able to find a way of doing this. any help would be much appreciated. David Bowles

No, you can split up the overall view settings by objects but you can set up a view template to show categories differently. Through VG, you can control line style , line weight, transparency, color, cut patters and sub category elements. Obviously, you don't want to have to do this manually, so do it by template.
