Revit Architecture 2011 Hello all, i'm trying to build a metric mass, to create a form in which we can paste our roof. The model should be an extruded triangle with some dimensions to alter it. The triangle is working fine, and i am able to extrude it by selecting "create form". Everythig still fine. Except, the extrusion i determined by the standard extrusion depth. Once I try to hook this depth to a parameter, I can't use my parameters anymore (like angle) without getting the errors "constraints not satisfied". Any ideas? Thanks, Jeroen

What is "angle" used for? I think that is your problem. Parametric extrusions are always best done if you create reference planes first, label them for name and location, then create your extrusion to those planes.

Hmm, still can't find it. Please, could you look to the attachment? There are a couple of extra reference lines, because the line that should be rotated, has the center of rotation outside the line itself. Didn't knew how to do this, so shis is my solution? (extra lines and 2 locked 90° angles). This form still "listens" to my parameters. Next step would be to make the triangle "reference line" checkbox checked. At this point some things will stop working...try different angles. Next step would be to create the form, and make the "depth" (extrusion, or form length) parametric. Can't figure out what I am doing wrong...
