Hi all,
How do I exclude a door or window from being counted within a schedule?

Make a new Yes/no parameter in the window familiy called "IsScheduled". When loaded, you can check this on and off. In your schedule, use the filter to display only those windows that are checked "IsScheduled"

Scott,
I have managed to create a new yes/no instance parameter for my windows. I loaded the unpdated famiiesy into my project. The parameter shows up and I am able to check the box for a particular window.
In my schedule however, the option to filter by this paramter is not available. Is there something else I must do?

Hi Scott,
No problem. As I have created a separate phase called doors/windows as part of the way I have set up my door schedule drawing sheet.
All I need to do is set the schedule to show only new construction.
This has fixed the problem.
