Hi, I've created a window, and I want to make a bar grille to fit into it which changes with the window size. To create the grille, it has a top and bottom horizontal bar which sits on the window cill and head respectivly, the bar is 50mm x 50mm. I've created Work Planes for all edges of my windows. The bar at the bottom is locked to the cill work plane and when I move the cill it moves too - which is correct. The bar at the top is attached to the window head work plane, but when I move this, the top face of the bar (which is locked to the work plane) moved, but the bottom stays where it is - so in effect the bar changes size. How can I tell Revit not to alter the shape of the top bar at all, just move entirly with the work plane?? Cheers.

Probably need more controls on the various parts of your window. additional workplanes on top and bottom of upper rail and lower rails along with work planes for side rails. Lock extrusions to the various workplanes and give definitions to the dimensions so that you can control them in the properties dialog. Hope this helps.
