I am drawing a residential project where several of the units are duplicated, I grouped them in order to copy the entire unit and now when I try to 'ungroup' them I get a fatal error everytime. Any suggestions?

Did you install the Web Update 1 build (20100614 2115) to 2011? Here: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/item?siteID=123112&id=14973244 check the "Update Enhancement List" first, maybe this can solve the problem

Downloaded the update this mornings and still having crashes, That time I tried to edit the roof attached the group, in order to modify and un join certain elements to the roof it wanted to ungroup, and again crash.

Could it have something to do with my video card? Ive got a Radeon HD 5700 Series, and everytime I open revit it says some features may not be fully supported by the video card and driver on this computer : unknown video card ...

hummm, don't think so, i think it's "memory issue", specs. of your machine? Ram? O.S. (32/64 bits)?, processor?

Im not too computer suavvy, so hopefully this is what you were asking for... Intel(R) Core (TM) i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz 8 GB RAM 64 bit operating system.

Was the content of the project file migrated from an earlier version of REVIT ?

Well, it's not "memory issue" with 8GB of ram in a 64 bit O.S., nice machine btw. I also do not WW, this is the first time we have this kind of issue here, did you report this to Autodesk?

Thanks someone in the office built it, I haven't reported the video card message but this morning when the fatal error caused it to close was the first time it prompted me to report to autodesk and they havent replied yet. Very odd.

The file was completely created in 2011 but has some imported cad files in it.

Did you try to "Audit" that file? Also, create a backup file, then open that backup and delete/detach those CAD files, then "Purge", save and try it again...

Are these groups mirrored? Some families in groups do not mirror well so groups are best defined as left and right.
