Dear All Hopefully this is a quick and easy one but i am struggling to find the answer. I have produced a site surface using surveyors information and would like to show the datum points used as text next to the position were i placed a point. I am aware that i can use the contour tool but I would like to use the datum levels at the points used as i will need to level out the site. I hope someone will be able to help me.

I have another question. The surveyor has set his station point 1660mm above zero as 0 in his autocad drawing. So he has represented his spot levels as the following as an example 1680 - which in z co-ordinate is +20mm from 1660. 1590 - which is in z co-ordinate is-70mm below 1660. So when I use the spot elevation level the reference is shown as a + and - figure. Is there a way to set the drawing so 1660 is the refernece level and the levels above and below the 1660 level are shown as the above example as 1680 and 1590. Hopefully this makes sense. Any help will be duly appreciated. egoled

Carefully read your help file on topography. You can grab the surface and move it up or down to suit.
