I am fairly new at Revit so you'll see me here quite often....

For some reason my wall pull down menu is only offering me a couple wall types where on a different drawing file it shows all of them how it's suppose to! What's going on??

Is it possible to create a axonometric section and render it?

While I am here, can anyone recommend a GOOD book on Revit Architecture 2009?  Thanks!

"For some reason my wall pull down menu is only offering me a couple wall types where on a different drawing file it shows all of them how it's suppose to! What's going on??" - Did you "PURGE" that file? i think so, that's why you only have a couple of wall types.

"Is it possible to create a axonometric section and render it?" - Create the section where you want, go to a 3D view and in the right side you have the "View cube" right click then "Orient to view > Sections" and select the section view you want, then you can render that.

"While I am here, can anyone recommend a GOOD book on Revit Architecture 2009?" - There are several good books,  "Mastering Revit  Architectural 2009", you choose the author....

Thanks for your feedback!

1.The purge didn't work....it's still missing all my drywall assemblies....

2.The section-render worked just fine, thanks!

3. The book name sounds familiar, I will give it a shot.  Is it the same you used, if any?

Ty was saying that you must have purged your wall types, that is why they are missing.  Now you will ahve to reload them if you have them defined elsewhere.  You can copy paste or transfer project standards.
