Hello, Thanks for the response. In regards to the issue of adding rafters to the roof, I was directed to the link http://www.revitcity.com/forums.php?action=viewthread&thread_id=10882 , I loaded a wooden framing material from the Strutural folder (as indicated in the previous thread) but I am not able to add it as rafter. How can I possibly accomplish this. Instaed I loaded a detail component- Roght cut lumber and used it to show/fake it as rafters in a section view....not at all sure if that would be aright thing to do. Any suggestion would be highly apprecitaed. Thanks

What I would do is use Beam System. I would define the working plane as the roof surface. Load beams, wood, steel, or what ever. It just has to be a beam. If you don't know how to use the beam system it is just like defining a floor with a direction for the span. Works good. Let me know if that helps.
