If you want to use flat glass panels, then curtain wall systems should work. If you will be using curved glass sections, then consider in-place (or parametric) families. One in-place sweep could be glass and your mullions could be a family placed at intervals.

The answer you need depends on what you want. Do you really need this shape modeled? We use similar shaped metal wall panels (also floor/roof deck) and we do not model them. For rendered views, we use a material that will render to look like the material and then in plan and detail views, we use 2D detail compnents to represent the shape. If you insist on modeling this material, you can create a very simple family that is a parametric extrusion for length (the wavy form with a thickness is your profile). If you wanted to get fancy, you could create the panel to the normal maximum width but have within the same family, a controllable void that would cut that back when you needed a narrower panel.

yes, i do want this to be a "wall". I sketched the shape i needed as an extrusion, but i dont know how to take this from and make it an actual wall type, just like a 3 5/8" wall. I am in over my head here, any hints on where in the help docs this is covered or how to begin. I read WWhub' reply and i am still stumped. thanks

Walls are system level components so there is no way of having this extrusion act like a wall. As I said, for metal wall panels, we use a flat wall but assign it the material properties so that it renders correctly and that is a wall. That material has a vertical hatch pattern so that it indicates the texture in 2D elevations.
