Anybody have any tips on working around or eliminating all together problems with walls not trimming correctly. It seems that almost every wall I try to trim now leaves a chunk missing. This is becoming very frustrating and I am just hoping that there is some simple solution out there...

Which Revit are you in? Try pulling the walls back and trim again. Then if that doesn't work, you can also cycle through the wall joins. (Modify tab-Edit Geometry-wall joins.) If that doesn't work, we might have to see an image of your problem and how your walls are defined.

Are these stacked walls? Does either wall have a profile edit?

Plese don't post multiple images of the same thing. This is not a normal problem. Does either wall have the disallow join set?(click on wall then right click on blue dot at end of the wall. Did you test this wall type out in a clean file?

Sorry about the multiple images. I hit refresh on my browser to get your message and it posted the same message again. At any rate, the problem show seems to be happening with multiple wall types. Seems as though how it joins together is sometimes random and the only thing you can do is 'trick' revit into joining them properly. Sometimes clicking the 'disallow join' button helps but in this case it is not on.

I found this blog post that might be helpful to people but I was hoping that there was some other tips or tricks that could be used from the beginning to help eliminate these annoying intersection joins. http://revitbeginners.blogspot.com/2006/07/cleaning-wall-intersections.html

The link you posted is several Revits ago and the wall clean-up issues are rare. We don't have the problems you are seeing except when you edit wall profiles or use stacked walls with a different wall (stacked or not) so your problems may be something else. (We still have cleanup issues with very short wall segments.)
