I am having trouble making an element existing in my model.  It (many items) have been previously modeled as new construction.  I have decided to try using phasing for this project.  However, I cannot turn certain items (joist in particular) into an existing phase.

Also, is there a fast way to change this status?

When I copy an "existing" element it reverts back to "new construction."
