I have trouble trying to get a frameless glass door in a shower enclosure. The door is hinged to a standard tiled wall and the other side is a half glass wall (see image). I only found a glass doors for curtain walls but I don't think an exterior curtain wall in a bathroom is the solution. Also I tried to create a glass door type but I can't eliminate the frame ( I get an error). Any insights in how to solve this problem? Thank you for your help

Since we don't treat these as a door but as a toilet accessory, we created a simple foor based family....so can you.

Thanks for the help. I created a new door from a general model template but instead of making it a floor based I made it wall based. The model came up ok but the only problem I got was it doesn't attached to the wall. It is off the wall by 9/16". Any suggestions of how to solve it? I attched the file I created for reference. Thank you

I think people overuse curtain walls. I generally want my project to list properly when exported. There are some instances where you are just better off to use a CW but this is not one of them. BYEBYECAD .... I think using a wall hosted template is wrong and will cause you problems as you have found out. A floor based or none hosted template will work best. If you don't want hindges or latch, then this is really simple. Just a vertical extrusion - thickness as required and material set in the family. One rectangle - height and materials set - done.

Thank you for the advice. I did try to make it as a curtain wall but I agree with WWhub , I want my project to list properly specially when one is in the learning phase of revit. That was my first family I created so I it was a good learning experience, but I will change it to as floor hosted family as indicated. Regarding the problems with wall hosted family templates , is this a common occurrance? Is there information available I can read to learn how to solve it? Thank you again.
