I created a baluster family that was just a void. I loaded into my project and set this void baluster at the end of my railing. In the project browser I edited the type properties of the baluster to be a post. However the baluster still will not cut the railing. Is there a way to get a void baluster to cut a railing? I'm creating a lean rail and the ends or returns get cut at a 45 degree angle when they get to a door jamb or something similar. I could do this with a model in place sweep and void form, but it would be much quicker if a railing family would work and automatically cut the ends. I've attached just the railing family I created. If anyone can get this to work it would be much appreciated.
