Hey, I've read as much as I can bout the view range and it still seems to not do what I want it to. I've got a cut plane 200mm above my portal frame knee joint and a bottom range of -1200mm. I'm trying to see the arch. roof underlay so I've set the top range to 3000mm. It doesn't matter what I set this to it just seems to be the same. FYI all the ranges are set to the associated level of the portal frame knee joint. Thanks..

I cannot tell from your question what it is that you want to do. As far as view ranges are concerned the primary consideration is the cut plane this is the elevation that a slice is made through the building.
