Guys, what would you usually do to have this properly done?
Can you see that my ground floor wall is inside my first floor slab? If I join them I have it shown properly in 3D but not in cut. If I attach my ground floor top to my slab I have other funny problems with its ends (see second pic). Can I have some help?

Thanks.

It appears that your brick wall has no brick thickness. I would model with brick thickness and then when you are creating your slab in the sketch mode, and finish the program asks if you want to cut out the interfering wall portions. You might try that. This is also a problem when doing wood buildings.

Sorry, Steve, I don't understand. I'm using this double brick cavity wall (110mm brick - 50mm cavity - 110mm brick) and when I finish drawing the first floor slab revit only asks me if I want to attach the ground floor walls top to the bottom of it...

The structural slab should not extend to the outside edge of the wall. The slab should extend to the inside of the outside brick or to put it another way to the outermost edge of the cavity inorder to transfer reinforcing etc. Attached is sketch of how I would do it. When you create the floor or edit it the sketching sequence when finishing will ask whether you would like to join the wall and floor and also whether you would like to cut the wall with the floor the answer to that question is yes.

Thanks, Steve, thats exactly what I do (like in the pic 01) but when I have a door like the one in the pic 02 I usually extend the slab till the external face of the wall, do you know what I mean? Please check pic 02 and 03. Otherwise I end up with something like the pic 04.

Also, if I join the slab and the walls I end up with thin lines between them in my section (like pic 05), isn't this not very appropriate?

When you edit the floor, you are given the option of letting the floor cut areas out of intersecting walls.  Choose that option and your slab will now cut the wall area out below the door.

fab, I think your 05 detail is alright, when it is structurally detailed the line I think you are referring to on the bottom of the cantilevered slab will be cleaned off at the grout area and reinforcing will be drawn through this area. I also put a small chamfer at the face of the door out to the cantilevered deck edge of 1/2" in 3" +/- and then I don't have a lip at the outside edge or at least a shorter one. Otherwise looks pretty good to me.
