Hi All- I'm running into a minor issue- I have edited my keynote file, which I've done in the past without problem, and now for some reason I'm getting an error message that reads: Duplicate key value '', text: '' When I expand it gives me no further explanation. It does allow me to hit OK and ignore, but now whenever we save this error message pops up each time. Again nothing serious, but very annoying- any suggestions on how to eliminate this error? I've triple checked my keynotes file to make sure there are no duplicate values and I've saved as Tab Delimited...so I'm unsure what else to check, any thoughts are appreciated, thanks much!

Somewhere you have a line that is duplicated. Did you add some separations in your file?...any additional lines that don't have an index number?

I did add a couple separations, for some package notes, but they seem to be functioning properly inside of Revit. I have attached my file you're more than welcome to check it out.

Revit treats every line of text as a keynote item. As long as you heve these seperations, you will see the error message. Just ignore it - we do. We too want these divisions so the user can find the note quicker but they don't affect your schedules.

Alright, I appreciate yout time and insight. Good to know that nothing is messed up...the only odd thing about it was that for the last project I had a very similar file setup and never ran into this message...oh well, no worries. Thanks again.

In case anyone is still interested in fixing this issue, I just fixed mine. You can have as many blank lines as you want between categories to help with organization. ONLY open your keynote files in Notepad. If you open it in Excel and do a saveas it will add 3 blank tabs on each blank line. This is the issue. You need to delete any blank tabs on blank lines. The 'duplication' occurs when there is more than one blank tab in a row.
