I'd like to keep Revision date to be indicated as "DEC 25, 2010" instead of 12/25/2010. Currently, it sort by Alphabetical and not by Year in the order. Please see attached image. Under Revision schedule sort, there are only ascending/descending options. 1. I need Letter indication of the month (=DEC) to be converted to Numerical (12). 2. I need the year (2010) to be sort first, then month (DEC), then DATE (25) to be sort in order. Since Year is listed at the very last in US system, the scheduling date does not sort the way we want.

Revit does not have a database field type of 'date' which can be sorted on in a logical fashion. Instead the 'date' field in the revision schedules is a 'text' type field and will only sort alphabetically. Your choices are to sort the schedule on a different visible field such as 'revision number' [which by the way is also a text field], or sort on the sequence number or introduce your own field into the mix that sorts the way you desire.
