Has anyone figured out how to do this? I have a pre-cast wall with vertical reveals and need to dimension to the centerline. I've searched all over the forum and it seems that everyone's suggestions end up not working. Revit 2011 will not allow you to draw an invisible line down the middle or a "strong referenced" reference plane. Any solutions would be great.. Thanks guys.

Someone else in the office solved it. Separating your profile line into two separate lines down the middle will give you a node that you can pull a dimension off of. Hope this helps - if you need further clarification please let me know. H

I still haven't been able to figure this out, even after reading this. I split the lines into two and I still can't dimension to centerline in elevation. Could you help clarify? Thanks!

if you compose your reveal of two halves it just gives you the error with "Could not create Reveal. One or more profiles are invalid. Make sure that every used profile is a closed loop of non-intersecting lines."
the lines intersect... this is beyond annoying
