i downloaded the vic .rfa files from victaulic. and saved them in the pipe fittings folder, i'm trying to make a steel pipe system for a cooling tower and chillers. in the type properties of steel i have to specify under fitting - flange. correct? all i can choose from are flange - slip-on, or none. same with elbows, tees, ect. what do i have to do to be able to choose the vic fittings for the pipe type? i had the system done with flanged fittings then this morning was told that it is going to be using victaulic.

I posted this in another forum but thought I'd post it here also to see if I could get any feedback. The discussion on vic fittings may help me we will be using them and welded fittings.
Our firm is using Revit 2012 and it has improved capabilities for MEP piping, especially sloped piping, we have also used work sets to be able to filter individual systems in the model. Note I am not a Revit user, I can get into the model and look around and that is about it, so I'm not a lot of help to others. What I'm looking for is someone that has created or knows where I can import or procure piping families for large bore pipe 2 1/2" and large, specifically 45° and 90° Elbows, tees, reducers etc. We have found small bore screwed fittings and drain pipe fittings but I am looking for welded fittings. Any help will be appreciated.
