Is it possible to create the attached stair profile? The closest I can get is having the entire riser slanting instead of just one side. I can not use monolithic stairs because we are offsetting the stringer and I believe monolithic stairs are incapable of doing that. I am using Revit Architecture 2010. Thank you!

I suggest downloading the most definitive guide on stairs from Phil Read. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/125962/AB114-1.pdf Phil worked for Revit before purchased by Autodesk and continued to work for Autodesk for a number of years. He is also co-author of the new Mastering Revit book. His blog: http://www.architecture-tech.com/ Hint: probably best done with a nosing profile that is the complete tread. I believe Phil has an example. ekoorb: please sent me a private email as I'm looking for a Revit enabled architect in the Nashville area. Visit my website below. " what do you mean by "having the entire riser slanting instead of just one side"? isn't the entire riser slanting in the image you posted.

I apologize if I wasn't clear. In section I would like the exterior of the riser to slant, but the interior to be vertical. I believe the pdf that Tom posted answered my question. I will try making a custom nosing that will act as the riser as well. Thank you.
