I've built a 2D Striup because using the 3D rebar is way too time consuming. When you place it over a conc. section, you can snap it to the edges of the conc. because it has an offset instance parameter preset to 3 inches. If you need to tweek the offset you can grab the blue grip and drag it in or out without affecting the componate locked to the perimeter of the conc. If the beam changes in size the offset parameter keeps its offset distance from the edge BUT only for the sides. I cannot figure out why the bottom and top offsets don't move.
