We have a project that is 60% complete and now the consulting firm wants to change sheet sizes so we need to rotate project north 90 degrees counter clockwise for the project to fit on the sheets. When we do this we get 78 errors and 109 warnings and only the option to cancel the command with no way to resolve the errors. Any ideas?

I doubt you really mean "...We have a project that is 60% complete and now the consulting firm wants to change sheet sizes so we need to rotate project north 90 degrees counter clockwise for the project to fit on the sheets...." You don't rotate project north to fit your sheet. You only do that when you want to rotate a building on a site. And rotating project north should not have given you all those errors but if you tried to rotate the model, then you would have problems. What mbsteve told you is your best solution. It is called "rotate view by crop region". When you do this, all model elements rotate but all annotative elements remain readable with respect to your screen. And instead of rotating the sheet as bdbhoy suggests, you also have another tool called "rotating view on sheet". If you use this tool, the view and view title will rotate completely with respect to your sheet.

you must be doing something wrong. select the crop region, it will highlight. then select the rotate object button, this will turn on a small circle with arrow and a line. you may move the small circle any where in your view with the cursor. then click the line and rotate. this works the same way as it does for all objects in revit.
