hi all, i'm using Revit MEP 2011, and i'm having issue with pipe connectors. for some reason that i can't figure out the connectors are not staying connected to the solid that they are suppose to be attached to. i imported a taco pump and have a pdf of what that is doing and i also made a cooling tower today, and when i loaded it in the model the pipe connector is too low for both pipes. here is a pdf of that and the family model. i don't know if it matters that the tower is on a pad or not. but i just can't get it to look correct. any help would be greatly appreciated.

just a thought, if you have a 4" pad and place a cooling tower on that do the pipe connectors still stay associated to the main floor height. and the model moves to the level of the pad. if that is the case if i add a level that is lined up with the top of the pad and then place the tower on that level would everything line back up. i'll try and let you know

I think you can adjust pipe heights maybe that is easier. What is your handicap, mine is 6.

it only happens if the equipment is on the pad. when i created a new level and placed it on that level or work plane the pipe connectors are in the right place but then a have an un-needed level in the project. that i don't want to show in any elevations or sections. and unfortunatly i didn't play at all last year but i'm a bogey golfer so it's usually around 19. when i was in high school it was a 4 but that was a long time ago. lol
