Ok...I have a buidling where a few rooms have a ceiling elevation changes. For ease of explaniation, picture a 20'x20' room with a ceiling height of 10'. Then there is a 3'x20' strip along the exterior wall that goes to a 12' elevation. The change in elevation happens with a 90degree rise (no slops in the ceiling). There is a 3'10" plenum above. Here's the question. How are people setting up spaces/plenums where the top or bottom plane has two different elevations?

Create two separate ceilings at the heights that you want. Then make a "wall" with gyp or whatever on one side, go to a section view and pull the wall up to your lower ceiling.

The arch. has it modeled correctly. I am trying to figure out how to get a space (in Revit MEP) to have that step in it. If I apply a space to these rooms it treats it as though it has a flat ceiling and dosen't account the for step up in the ceiling. This is a problem for my spaces as well as my plenums.
