Hi,

I've notice something that has happened few times. Say I have a 3d view set, then I move around, readjust the view, camera etc, ok. Save, close. Next day I open the file, and the view is in the same position as it was before I've made the changes.

Anyone noticed something like that? Any tips?

Thanks in advance,

Bruno.

Use "View Templates", check in  your HELP how you can use it...

Help menu is the BEST tutorial you have...

Hi Typhoon,

thanks for your answer but that was not the answer I was looking for.

I believe it is a bug in the software, I just posted here to see if someone else got this bug but maybe I should have posted directly in autodesk warning about the bug:

for some reason, when I change something in a view (say I orbit around a bit, pan a bit, zoom, whatever..) afterI save, close the file and open it again, that view that I have moved around has gone back to the same place as it was before I moved (I'm not talking about shadows or some other cfgs, just the exact place that the camera has been positioned).

regards,

Bruno.

Are these work shared files with other users?  Standard 3D views could be set by last user although I believe 2011 sets this locally.

I have never heard of a problem with camera views changing without a user changing them.

Hum,

I am using Revit 2011 and also using worsets, that could be the problem. I'll run some tests.

Thanks,

Bruno.
