Chaps, hopefully someone here can put me out of my misery! I have been using MEP since 2008, and the whole time something has been bugging the heck out of me. Over here in the UK a fairly common pipe size is 22mm dia copper pipework. By default Revit MEP contains 20 and 25mm dia copper pipe sizes, but no 22. "Not a problem" thought I, many moons ago, "I'll just add it to the pipe size list like so...and voila!.....wait...." Whenever I try and make a new pipe size, I make sure I'm making it on the correct 'material' table. I make sure the boxes are ticked for 'use in size lists' and I've even made sure that the pipe class/type is set to the corresponding letter. I've also made sure that under my project settings for pipework that pipe sizes are set to the nearest millimeter. However as soon as I come to try and draw a length of pipe at the newly specified size, it doesn't appear in the drop down list on the design bar! I know that there must be something really obvious or tiny that I'm missing, but for the life of me I can't find anything about this problem on the internet, aside from people reccomending the steps I mentioned in the paragraph above. Any bright sparks out there know what I'm doing wrong/not doing here?

I am going to ask kind of an obvious question but did you make sure that the material, connection, and class match to the one where you just added the size in the pipe type that you are attempting to create?

Apologies for reviving a dead post, but doing so because I couldn't find the answer anywhere else - except for my own bumbling after half an hour of searching the web!
Turns out that in addition to adding the Size Segment(1), you also need to go to the Pipe Types(2) and fix the minimum size for that type.
(1) Systems -> Pluming & Piping -> Expand Arrow -> New Size...
(2) Project Browser -> Families -> Pipes -> (Pipe Type, double click on required one) -> Routing Preferences (click on Edit) -> Min. Size
