I need help with the following error message: "Can't change Instance's Family. Try changing Instance's Host to a Level first". Whenever I try to install the attached stud family as a brace, etc. I get that message. TO give a little background. I am drawing a stud truss. I have used this family for the top, and bottom chords, but when I tried to use them for the web members (using the brace command). I get that message. Please help
