Hello all, First of all thanks for any and all help. I am having an issue with reveals we have placed in our concrete walls. When printed they come out much to dark and dominate the drawing (as there are lots of reveals). I think this may be due to the fact that we created a custom profile for the reveal that essentially cuts a triangle into the wall (this displays three lines in elevation that are pretty close to each other). Is there anyway to override how these reveals show in elevation and make them print lighter? We would like to keep the profile of the reveal the way it is now because it effectively shows how the reveal lines up with store front mullions and the such... We just don't want them to be so dark! As I said before, any help is much appreciated. Thank you!

I don't think there is an easy way to do this. You could use the invisible line tool on the center-line but that would be a lot of work.

"I don't think there is an easy way to do this. You could use the invisible line tool on the center-line but that would be a lot of work." That first sentence pretty much sums up how I feel about this issue right now. I'm not even sure that you could use the invisible line tool as you state because you don't draw the reveal, you model the negative space that gets taken out of the wall. Do you have somewhere you could point me that would show me how to do this 'invisible line tool' method if it is, in fact, possible? Thanks for the quick response!

In yuour elevation, click on modify tab, pick the linework tool, choose invisible lines in the drop down and then pick the lines you want to be invisible. .... And yes, it works with voids since the edge of the cut is what is visible.

We may have to do that though unfortunately... If anyone else has a better/different solution I would love to hear it. Thanks!
