howdy,

Has anyone else had a problem with getting a dimension to lock on to a stacked wall? I am having all sorts of trouble in Revit 2010. Wondering if its a bug or if im doing something wrong...

All other walls work fine!

Thanks in advance Smile

You have not given us enough information to answer your question.  What are you dimensioning, a plan, a section, an elevation, opening in a stack?  A little gif image will tell a lot.  Screenhunter is free and it can capture a partial screen image with a very small file.

thanks for your time WWHUb, i wont waste any more of it! when i turned my machine on this morning and fired up Revit the problem had righted itself. it does this to me often and its incredibly annoying because i have to restart Revit. It must be a glitch caused by lack of memory.

i would attach a screenshot but it wont really help - all i am doing is dimensioning simple wall setouts in a callout plan - 99 out of 100 walls will let me place a dimension to the wall core face, but the 100th wall will spit the dummy, and in this case it happened to be a stacked wall, hence my question.

thanks again.
