Hi,

Yeh I have attached some images, they are like blown up membranes to make air pockets within a specified frame, the frame can be any closed shape. I attached a image and a section aswell to get an idea.

Although i am not looking to create such a complicated shape,i am looking to use a basic parametric square frame.

To create that you must use the "Conceptual mass"....

Hi,

I do understand this could be done using a conceptual mass quite easily, but i thought it maybe possible to create a curtain pattern panel family, insteading to have model 20 or so uniquely shaped 4 cornered pillows. as it simply is a cushion constrained to a frame like a curtain wall?

If you know "I do understand this could be done using a conceptual mass quite easily" and you want to create that with Curtain walls, then do it.

I don't think you understood where i was coming from, it is easy create one cushion in conceptual mass, but if i were to have a colinear curtain wall which had 400 panels which were all unique!! It would take hell of along time to do.

What i am asking is how could i model a pillow/cushion so that its parameters would change to fit its pattern with in the curtain wall, this is what i am having trouble with.. understand?

check the mass families that already come with revit in

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\...\Autodesk\RAC 2011\Metric Library\Curtain Panel By Pattern

(is the same route for the templates families).

Check the M_Hexagon Surface.rfa famili, and if you can do mass, play a lil with it, and then load it into your proyect. There mass the skin of the proyect, and load into it the uv mass you edited. Tadaaaah!!!!
