I am using Revit 2010. I have used the paint function to apply materials to wall surfaces, which I need to show in renderings and in interior elevations. Is there a way I can turn of the surface patterns they are assigned in section views only? I have not been able to "hide them in view" and have not found an option in the view settings. Any direction or help is appreciated. .

For coverall view, in the section view, VG - Wall, you can over-ride the settings for surface and cut patterns. You can do this individually for any wall - choose it and over-ride graphics in view "by element". See attached
