I am drawing my plans for a 2 storey extension and may need to create a step or two into the new bedroom so I can gain the same floor height as the rest of the upper floor. I am not much of a designer and just wondered if anybody had any examples of similar jobs they had done themselves. Just need an opening from the quarter landing at top of the stairs that will have a door leading to the extension bedroom. Not sure how to design the 2 steps so they look right . Thanks for any help Kirk

Hi Kirk, Any chance you could sketch something up to show what you mean? Im sure you'll get some interesting ideas from the users here - perhaps even a 3D or two. If you can clearly show us the situation we can clearly present some solutions! Looking forward to what comes through
