Is there a quick and easy way to have a pair of doors show up in the door schedule as (2) 3'-0" instead of 6'-0"? Is it as easy as changing the width parameter in the double door? Is there a different way to do it? I can just see the width parameter messing up somewhere else because it is no longer a calculated value. Thanks in advance.

Along the same lines, I also need to be able to show storefront doors in the schedule as (2) 3'-0" leaves as well. Not sure how to do this unless I edit each type in the double door family to show the width as (2) 'how ever wide' panels. Any help?

The only thing I have been able to find on this subject is this thread: http://www.revitcity.com/forums.php?action=viewthread&thread_id=17324 I have been trying to find a solution for this problem for some time but have had no luck. Any other ideas/best practices out there would be really appreciated.

The simplest way is to use the type comment field and simply write in what you want to have the schedule say. This will not replace the reported width and height as that is for the overall opening size. You can get much more sophisticated with doors and build them as frames, door panels, swing symbology that all comes together into a door family that all the sub-comonents nested in. If you created you door panels families as "shared" they can be scheduled separately from the overall door width. It also may be possible in Revit 2011 to use the reporting style parameter to give an individual panel width but it will likely not format the way you indicated you presently do it. The larger question is does it really matter to the architect if this appears on a schedule? Would not the legend view of the door type show the two leafs of the door and could they simply be dimension there? Think of all the un-equal, inactive leaf, removable strike situations that would difficult to show just via a schedule.

Try to download "Adjustable Hollow Metal Doors - Improved Version" in "Download under 08 10 00 -Doors & Frames", to see if that works for you?
