So when i build a second floor, i build right on top of the first floor's walls, but when i go to change the color of the outside walls, i still have the ugly default floor color. Am I doing it wrong, is there a way where the walls connect on the outside? Also if i want to have different types of color/textured floors in different rooms, do I have to split each room?

"Also if i want to have different types of color/textured floors in different rooms, do I have to split each room"....Duplicate them so you can apply the colors/textures you want.....
