How did you create that wall sweep? I now can see it was not with a create in-place.. you create a profile with the category "Wall sweep" then you load into-project and duplicate the default wall sweep by the new one, is this right? check in that plan view the detail level... please, also check in that plan view the "View range / Cut plane" too...

exactly what I did, iso 3D view is fine, just can see it from elevation and perspectives, very strange. If I create it as model in place component, it'll apear, but not sa wall sweep. I'll check other parameters, will update if I find anything.

Do you have them turned off in VG in the views?

no, checked VG and Override, that's what puzzle me. typhoon, how do you get to the family visibility setting window? model in place component? I can solve the visual problem w/ other ways, just got a little obsessed w/ the sweep problem, very unexpected.

If your sweep is for the base at the bottom of the wall as shown, then it will likely not be represented in the floor plan view because of the line thickness of the outer boundry of the wall is thicker than the base itself. To test, turn on Thin Lines (TL keyboard shortcut) with TL on, you should see the line of the base sweep. If not, then it might be a cut plane issue as well. If you want to see the base, then also check the scale of the view, the larger it is the more likely it is that the outer boundry of the wall will not hide it. The lineweights in Revit are relative to the view scale and not fixed like in AutoCAD. You can also play with the Object Styles setting for the cut representation of the wall and take the lineweight down a notch or two to see if that helps.
