Please check attachments. I would like to know if there's a way to cut special parts from the roof? If you see the pic with two pics in it, I'd like to cut that big part of Isolation material away. If you watch the second pic, I'd just like to remove the Isolation materials on the outside. I've been trying a bit with the "Cut Profile" function, but it doesn't want to cut straight? Any tips? kindest regards.

Please see my new attached pic. I guess it is becoming a problem because I have my wall going up through some layers, + the fact that I want to delete from the boundary. I don't see why it wouldn't want to cut from the boundary though, what do you think? :s

That's because you are drawing the "Cut Profile" on the orange boundary, create the "cut" a few millimeters of the orange line.

just to double check in case, "Cut Profile" is view specific. it does not actually change the model.

Yep, Coreed is right, if you need to really cut that portion of roof to show in 3D, rendering.... Use an "In-Place" in the category "Roof" and chose "Void Extrusion"...

To do this I should: 1. Component --> Model In-place 2. Pick "Roofs" -> name it whatever 3. Set work plane on the edge of the roof 4. Select Void Extrusion 5. Draw the extrusion i want, then pull it as far as i want. 6. BAM it should be done. But when i press Finish the error message "Some Void Forms of this family do not cut anything and will be deleted. To make a Void Form cut something else use the Cut Geometry tool." When I try to use the Cut Geometry tool it doesn't want to even touch the roof? wtf.
