I am attempting to create a detail component of steel decking that already has concrete built in on top; unfortunately concrete is not a default option for the fill patterns for regions so I'm having to create a new one and define it manually. The problem is that I cannot find the folder with all of the revit 2010 pattern (.pat) files. Could somebody -please- direct me to this folder. Thank you.

It is not in the library area. Look in your program installed location in the Data folder.

Mine is in C:\Program Files\Autodesk Revit Architecture 2010\Data\Revit.pat All the pattern files are in that one file.

The revit.pat had what I was looking for, but thanks for the link. It'll be good to know once I start making my own patterns. Much obliged.

We would have gotten here a whole lot quicker if you had said you were looking for one file. The conc.pat is part of the complete pat file. It can be loaded at different scales if you want to do that. It can also be isolated to it's own file - just delete everything else and save the file as conc.pat.
