I have a casework family. It is a chior rail. There are two levels. A u-shaped sweep of a rail profile at Ref. Level. The upper portion is also a u-shaped sweep of taller profile, also at Ref. Level. The upper rail goes around a solid extrusion of what would be the raised platform, sitting on the Ref. Level. I tried to add this to the second floor (Chapel) level and what I see is the cursor changes to a circle with a line through it, indicating that I can not add this family to this floor plan view. I checked to be sure the view was not wireframe. I checked to see that the casework does indeed add to the floor of a new model. It also adds to the first floor and fourth floor of the same model that will not allow me to add it to the target (second) floor of the chapel. Is there a reasonable list of settings I can check or conditons I can verify to resolve why I can not add this family to this one floor?
