I've been looking through threads...

 Is there some sort of check list as to why a plan region doesn't work the way you want it?  Beams are showing up, whereas the slab that it's supporting isn't.  I want to hide the beams. 

for now, I just hid them from view, but it's a pain because I also have to do that for the dependent view as well.
