Check out this picture one window does not get cut by the plan cut plane, even though its set to cut right smack through it. the other window is taller and does get cut, but why doesnt the #13 window. these are family types of the same window by the way, one is 2x2 feet one is 2x3 feet still it should be getting cut... also the cut plane thing is so screwy buggy imho.

looks like you are cutting thru the frame... try to lower your cut plane a bit more.. maybe 2" and see what happened.

Ive moved the cut plane all over the place. up through both windows, right below the head height, etc... so I know they are both being cut, because they are set at the same head height and I can look on the elevation. yet only one is being cut by the cut plane. Something with the cut plane is screwed. because If i go into the family type and elongate the window, after it gets to about 2'10 tall it suddenly gets cut. But TRUST ME, the cut place has been moved all over to get it to cut the window. the image I posted shows the cut plane set right at 6'5" so both windows are physically being cut...one type is not showing cut though.

OK I figured it out. YOU Must adjust the view range in the library part itself. not just in the project the part was imported into, or it will behave differently from the view range settings in the project. :-)
