Hey guys, I wonder if anyone has got a clue about where to find or how to make an elevator with two doors, one at each side of the "shaft"?

If you can't find anything, just apply two components, one at each side of the other....

You can also edit the family and copy/rotate the doors from one side to the other.

Otis elevator has a revit add-in that will create a family for you based on what you input. It's pretty sweet, but kinda technical for use at a schematic stage. Worth checking out though...

I don't think you can create a family that can cut an opening in two separate walls. But if you REALLY wanted to only use one family, you could edit the lift shaft walls in elevation and cut the required structural openings and then create a lift family sized correctly to suit your lift shaft and show the lift car and lift doors correctly in 3D. The family could be hosted to a floor plane or not hosted at all and simply hover in your model as per the X/Y/Z plane locaiton that you placed it. You would need to either copy the family to each floor level, or you could edit your family and show repeating doors at each correct level.

Here's a snippet of what the Otis add-in can create. I didn't need it here, but i'm pretty sure in the options when you create it you can have doors on opposite/alternate sides. Model comes in pretty detailed, and includes a lot of useful detail for additional space needed for the pit, location of controls, etc...
