I have to send my rvt file to our rendering person and want to know how to get him the file to render in 3DS Max. Any help is appreciated

at the moment only viz supports revit model with materials attached, do do that simply go to a 3D view and export a dwg. you can link this dwg model to Viz or Max, the only difference is that viz will have the materials and Max wont. but more than likely the Viz or Max people would like to apply their own materials to the model...
