Hi All I have noticed a few issues displaying surface patterns in RAC2010 Revit seems to ‘tone down’ the shade of the pattern the more oblique it is to the viewing angle to the point where the pattern will disappear all together. See attached, I have three roofs in elevation all with the same model pattern (100mm parallel lines)set to display black from left to right the roof angles are 45, 20 and 5 degrees. The pattern gets lighter as the angle gets more shallow. I don’t remember this being a problem in previous versions of Revit. I can’t seem to find a setting for this anywhere, all I want is my lines to print black. Any ideas?

Thanks WW I had a look at some of my earlier documentation in RAC2009. All seems fine, all my line work printing black! Just wondering if anyone else has got a problem with this? I know some people have issues with developing elevations with depth in REVIT but I don’t think this setting helps, and I find it quite annoying actually. I think it’s a matter of Autodesk trying to fix something thats not broke personally. That’s my vent for the day anyway... Looking forward to installing 2011.
