Hey, Just a quick question. I am modeling up a building with a saw tooth roof that meets with a flat roof half way along the building but i need to trim the saw tooth roof along the red line, and remove everything that is on the left. The flat roof section is a floor slab that has been coppied up. Is this possible? OR do i need to re-draw this as a roof to be-able to do this? Using Revit MEP 2010 Thanks.

I would re-draw it but if you just change the profile to match what you want it should be easy go to your site plan and draw your profile so it buts up to your roof, and then if it delets any of your elevation points redraw them

When i try to use the vertical opening i just get the error "The roof couldn't be cut." as soon as i click the button, before any user input. Is there a way to you can draw a profile on both sides? as i have drawn the roof profile in elevation (see pic) but i need it to come across on an angle, as it dosnt butt up square with the other roof.
